The special congregational meeting to vote on calling the Reverend Philip Brockett to be the Pastor of Central St. Matthew was brought to order by President Curry Miller at 11:25 am Sunday, December 7, 2014.

A quorum was present.

The president asked the ushers to come forward to distribute ballots and invited Rev. Cramer to lead us in prayer.

The president called for a motion to be made and the chair of the search committee, Ed Uruttia, moved that the congregation of Central St. Matthew call the Reverend Philip Brockett be our pastor.  There were several in the congregation who seconded the motion.  The congregation filled out their ballots and the ushers collected them.

Members of the search committee as well as the president counted the ballots and it was announced that the vote was unanimous to issue the call the Reverend Philip Brockett.

Curry Miller thanked the Search Committee as Rev. Brockett was ushered into the room.  All stood and offered him a round of applause.

The meeting was adjourned as all formed a circle and sang our parting hymn, Bind Us Together.
