Rite of Holy Union

The Rite of Holy Union is offered to same-gender couples seeking to have their covenantal relationship blessed publically. While full marriage is not currently an option in the State of Louisiana, couples may register as Domestic Partners in the City of New Orleans (if they are cohabitating residents). Couples who have united in marriage in a municipality currently offering such might also be interested in a religious celebration of their commitment. Planning and arrangements happen much the same with a Rite of Holy Union as they would with a wedding, with our pastor meeting the couple at least twice prior to the wedding day.

For those who are non-members of this congregation, there are a small number of reasonable fees for building usage and the work of our pastoral, musical, and custodial staff.
