The Steering Committee of the Rebuilding & Renewing Campaign is comprised of the Team Leaders from the Social Justice, Finance, and Property Teams in addition to our Pastor and Council President. The Steering Committee meets regularly to communicate and coordinate work between the teams and to share our progress with the wider congregation.
The Steering Committee was created and authorized by our Governing Council, and is not a final decision-making body. Decisions such as final architectural drawings, partnerships with tenants, application for grants and loans, and fundraising initiatives are brought to the Governing Council for approval. The Governing Council then determines if the matter needs to be brought before the congregation for a vote.
