Central St. Matthew UCC Christian Education

At Central St. Matthew, we believe that the Christian life must be nurtured through education and study in an environment of affirmation and fellowship. We offer a full range of opportunities for education and spiritual growth for children and adults. These include

  • Sunday morning classes
  • Monthly Men’s and Women’s Fellowship groups, which offer study and speakers from various walks of life
  • A monthly daytime book club

We also offer special Advent and Lenten studies and have plans to sponsor forums concerning current issues and challenges within our neighborhood and the larger community.

The Christian Education committee also offers some fun learning opportunities at our Advent Workshop and occasionally, art instruction, where fellowship is served up with the lesson, and with our summer and Christmas Vacation Bible School, fun is always mixed with instruction.

Come, join us in our search for understanding each other and in the many opportunities we provide to explore our faith.
